Hi, I'm Jaemi
I'm the dyer, knitter, and creative force behind Seville Studio. What started as a passion for color and texture has grown into a small-batch yarn business dedicated to creating beautiful, high-quality fibers for makers like you.
Every skein of yarn that leaves my studio is hand-dyed with care, using ethically sourced fibers and low-impact dyes. I believe that the yarn we choose for our projects should be as special as the time we spend creating with it.
When I'm not dyeing yarn, you can find me knitting, exploring new color combinations, or curled up with a good book and a cup of tea.
📖 My Story
My journey into the world of yarn began over a decade ago when I learned to knit from my grandmother. I was immediately captivated by the endless possibilities—how a simple strand of fiber could become something beautiful and functional with just two needles and some patience.
In 2020, I started experimenting with dyeing my own yarn. I was amazed by the alchemy of it all—how different fibers take color, how a single dye pot can produce infinite variations. What began as a small kitchen operation quickly grew into a full-fledged studio, and Seville Studio was born.
Today, I create small-batch, hand-dyed yarns that are as unique as the people who use them. Each colorway is inspired by the world around me—the golden light of a sunset, the misty blue of a mountain morning, the rich earth tones of a autumn forest.
